Surekha Film Society organised a program at Kasturba School, Tegada of Kasimkota Mandal. Award winning movie 'Hero' was screened by the organisation on the day. Balabharatam books were presented to the children who made an excellent analysis on the film. Prof. SSN Raju, the President and Mallareddi Sankara Prasad, Secretary (PR) participated. 

Surekha Film Society screened the movie '1:1.6 An Ode to Lost Love' on 12.4.2014 at Vivekananda Hall, Anakapalle. Prof. SSN Raju, the President of the organisation inaugurated the program by releasing the DVD of the movie. Pilla Ravisankar, Mallareddi Sankara Prasad, Boyina Chinnarao are seen.

Surekha Film Society conducted a programme with Popular Director Sri Akkineni Kutumba Rao and famous writer Smt. Volga, at Vivekananda Hall, Anakapalli on 29.3.2014. Award winning film 'Amulyam' was also screened on the occasion. Dr. Merugumilli Venkateswara Rao, S.Tammiraju, Prof. SSN Raju, AVN Murthy, Mallareddi Sankara Prasad, Pilla Ravisankar, V.Sarada, B.Chinnarao and  M.Karunadevi felicitated the guests on behalf of Surekha Film Society.
